The Student Council of Our Lady’s School was formally established in October 2023.

The school recognises the importance of Student Voice and Participation. Our Student Council are selected annually every October. We aim to meet once per month.

All students are encouraged to bring their thoughts and ideas to members of the Student Council or place their ideas in the “Suggestion Box” which is situated in the main entrance hall. All ideas are discussed and prioritised at Student Council Meetings. Students from the Student Council, take turns to visit classes after meetings, to inform the whole school of decisions and plans.

Our Student Council are central to creating our new student friendly policies eg. Bí Cineálta Child Friendly Policy and Our Student Child Safeguarding Policy.
